
Josep-Maria Arauzo-Carod is a Full Professor of Economics at the Rovira i Virgili University (URV), Chair of the Research Center on Economics and Sustainability (ECO-SOS) and member of the research group Quantitative, Urban and Regional Economics (QURE). He has a Bachelor Degree in Economics (Universitat de Barcelona) and a PhD in Economics (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). He has been Visiting Fellow at University of Reading (UoR). His thesis analysed location decisions of manufacturing firms in Catalan municipalities. He has published several articles, books and book chapters about industrial location, cultural and creative industries and some spatial economic issues. He is Chair of the International Network of Economic Research (INFER), member of the Board of the Council of the Catalan Competition Commission (ACCO), member of the Research Council of Le Studium (Le Studium) and Fellow at the MSH Val de Loire (MSHVdL) and at the Institut d’Economia de Barcelona (IEB).
